The Issue

As a route-based business, a portion of our emissions stems from diesel exhaust.

Our Solution

In addition to enhancements in diesel variants, we recently accepted delivery of two fully electric Peterbilt 520EV's in our New York City market. Utilizing regenerative breaking within dense routes in New York City, the vehicles have a range of approximately 100 miles with the ability to service up to 1,100 bins on a single charge.

The Benefit

The vehicles are emblematic of our ongoing efforts and commitment to reduce emissions. In addition to the environmental benefits, the Peterbilt 520 EV offers a significantly quieter operating profile, an important feature to the New York City community.
